Spanish pianist, born in Madrid in 1982.
Regularly she plays as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles.
She has worked with conductors like Reinbert de Leeuw, Hans Leenders, Chris Leenders and Martin Sieghart and she has given concerts in the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ (Amsterdam), Vredenburg (Utrecht), De Doelen (Rotterdam), Orpheus (Apeldoorn), Auditorio Príncipe de Asturias (Madrid) and in cities like Santiago de Compostela, Toledo, Córdoba, Leipzig and Magdeburg (Germany).
She won the Andrés Segovia Award for the Spanish Music in the 47th edition of ¨Música en Compostela¨ and she has taken part of the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest (Holland) between 2008/2011.
As a piano pedagogue she has experience with Bachelor students, Master students and young talent pupils. At this moment she is piano Methodology teacher at the conservatory Prins Claus, Groningen, Netherland. Hier she is also investigation teacher, coach of the Honours program students and tutor.
Moreover, she gives piano and chambermusic lessons at the Muziekschool Het Klooster, Woerden. With pupils winning national competitions.
She is also jury of the National EPTA examns, Netherlands.
At the beginning of her career as teacher she has been assistant of piano prof. Stephan de May at the conservatory Codarts, Rotterdam. She has also been teacher during five yars of the piano method P.I. at the music center UCK, Utrecht. This program for young talents has been developed by conservatory Den Hague following the auditieve method Kodaly. This method is only given at the conservatory of Den Hague and at the UCK-Utrecht. At the UCK, Ana has been coordinator of the proyect Applaus with a team of around 20 teachers.
She finished her studies at the ¨Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid¨ with an Erasmus scholarship to study in Leipzig, Germany. Just after, she received the very prestigious MAEC-AECID scholarship to follow a master program in piano soloist in Holland. Inh Holland she also followed a second master in piano chamber music. While studying has regularly worked with prof. Martyn van den Hoek, Klara Wurts, Stephan de May and Hans Ejsackers entre otros. She received also masterclasses from Claudio Martínez Menher, Ferenc Rados, Joaquín Achúcarro, Jean Dubé and Galina Egiazarowa.
